Makers Mudd

Glazing or mudding is sealing and weatherproofing a leaded glass window. There are many different recipes and formulas for glazing compounds. This product is easy to prepare, a two-part mixture we use during classes, for repair projects, and commissions. 

Sold in two sizes, Makers Mudd is a 2-part stained glass cement/grout that ensures long-lasting strength and leaves your window weatherproof. This product sets up in 24 to 48 hours for quick handling and is easy to store, mix, use, and clean up. Mix only what you need when you need it. Leftovers can be stored for short periods in an airtight container.

With our mixture, you can add colorant to make as light or as dark a finish as you prefer! We include our suggested mixing instructions, but suggest mixing to your preferred consistency. Available in 1 or 5 pound quantities.
