The Choice Rheostat regulates the flow of current into your soldering iron to maintain a consistent tip temperature as you work. Attachable to your work surface. With a 400-watt capacity and 3-prongs, the Choice Rheostat works with most irons. This rheostat is highly advised with the use of the Choice Soldering Iron. Unlike the Weller brand iron, these do not feature temperature control without a Rheostat.
